1. How do you rename a session called scratch to ideas?tmux rename-session -t scratch ideas (or Ctrl-b $ from inside it).2. How do you close a session you are not in?tmux kill-session -t name.
Introduction
No step-by-step this time: just the task. Everything you need was in the last two labs.
Three Projects
You're juggling three projects and want each in its own tmux session.
Tasks
Create sessions called api and docs, both in the background (don't attach to them).
Rename docs to notes.
Close api; that project is done.
Create a session called web and finish inside it.
Requirements
At the end, exactly notes and web are running, and you are attached to web.
Example
$ tmux ls
notes: 1 windows (created ...)
web: 1 windows (created ...) (attached)
Solution
tmux new -s api -d
tmux new -s docs -d
tmux rename-session -t docs notes
tmux kill-session -t api
tmux new -s web
Summary
Challenge complete. Compare your approach with the solution: there is usually more than one good way.
